South Craven Drinkers

This weeks ride, looked doomed from the start as rain clouds amassed!  The South Craven Drinkers (as the club has now been renamed) decided to avoid a repeat of last week.  Sprint points were awarded to whoever reached the bar first at the Old White Bear in Crosshills.  Needless to say it was a close call and I finally had to buy a round!

Last Thursdays Ride!

A bit of a late post. But I’ve had a very busy week. Well… that’s my excuse anyway.

Last Thursday 5 brave souls turned up for what turned out to be a very wet ride over the local hills. We headed off up the steep climb up Green Lane in Sutton-in-Craven. By the top everyone was already soaked, but we soldiered on to Cowling. Minus Neil who went back to Keighley (lucky him!)

By the time we got to cowling we’d had enough of the weather and it was decided we should ride to the Hare and Hounds in Lothersdale, to make sure we we’re as wet on the inside as we were on the outside…
