Kildwick 10 22/04/13

A lot better weather than last week, but still a bit of a headwind towards the little chef roundabout.  It was Yasmines first time trial on the Kildwick course and she was the only girl there this week.  Surprising considering it was nearly a full field.  This week it was another Dirt Wheels rider, Peter Barusevicus with the fastest time of 22.26.  Not sure if he was on a timetrial bike I think his time may have been on drops?  If so thats a pretty impressive time.  The results were as follows -

First womens monday ride

First womens ride success

The weather wasn’t great but it wasn’t as bad as it looked.  In fact it dried up and the sun almost came out.  Anyway 3 braved the elements for a great ride to Skipton and back down the Aire Valley to Glusburn.

So if your thinking of giving it a go come and join us next week, same time same place.

First Womens Monday Ride

Hello Guys,

Just a reminder that the first womens ride will take place tomorrow.  Meeting in Glusburn Institute car park at 6.40pm and setting off at 6.50pm.

This is the first week so it will be it will be a shorter flatter ride to see how everybody gets on.  There’s no need to worry about the pace being too fast.  The idea is to ride as a group and have fun.  There will be some small hills to avoid riding on the main roads.

A map of the route can be found here –

Lights are advisable just in case and everyone should have a spare tube and pump in case of a puncture.

Hopefully we’ll see you tomorrow.
